Tony Lopykinski is the Founder and Managing Principal of Maven Advisors, LLC. Tony has more than 17 years of diverse leadership experience having served in numerous roles within the analytics, business intelligence, and data warehousing space. As the Global BI Director for one of the world’s largest global retailers, he led both the development and execution of the company’s enterprise business intelligence strategy. Tony enjoys leveraging his many lessons learned to deliver practical solutions to companies new to business intelligence as well as those struggling to take their BI capabilities to the next level.
Tony serves as an expert at various industry forums and conferences. He is currently part of The Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI) faculty were he delivers business intelligence and data warehousing training, and serves as a judge of TDWI’s Best Practice Awards. In addition, Tony founded and chairs the AITP BI Executive Forum, a group focused on sharing best practices among business intelligence leaders throughout the Chicagoland area.
Tony earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with honors from Northern Illinois University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He has a Graduate Certificate in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence from Loyola University’s Graduate School of Business and is Six Sigma Green Belt trained.
